New Conservation Service from MHDC   (9th March 2010)
Malvern Hills District Council are introducing a new service to compliment the Duty Planning Officer facility. From the 7th April 2010, a Conservation Officer will be available in the Malvern Customer Service Centre, in Malvern Library, to answer simple enquiries on listed building issues every Wednesday afternoon between 14-00 and 16-00. Standard objection letter to Windturbines   (31 Jan 2010)
Attached is the "standard" letter of objection to the Wind Farm Planning Application produced by SWAG. It is now on their website. Later in February they will hold a public meeting in Twyning, so as to answer questions and to raise the level of local support for refusal. Letters of objection should be sent to Mr. T. O'Connor at Tewkesbury Borough Council as soon as possible.     More...

WIND TURBINES APPLICATION RECEIVED   (Dec 2009)
An application by Tewkesury Borough Council has been received for the Erection of three (3) 126 metre high to blade tip, 2MW wind turbines, an 80m anemometry mast, and associated infrastructure.

At our meeting on 15th June 2009 meeting Ripple Parish Council formally recognized the model Publication Scheme, as approved by the Information Commissioner for use by Parish and Town Councils, in line with Section 20 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. This document explains how to request information, the terms and conditions under which we supply requested information, and what information we will and will not supply. The Parish Council has been compliant with the Act since 1st January 2009, and the attached document now clarifies our procedures relative to the Act.    More...
